Unlike other control surfaces on the market, Solidyne doesn’t force you to have an external PC to measure signal levels. The 2600 line includes a complete measurement tower. All VU meters have an internal computer to accurately measure the audio signal in 1 dB steps. They are of the DUAL type, i.e. they mark separately the RMS value (proportional to the sound sensation) and the peak value referred to the full scale; this is essential in digital management.

The buttons are operated remotely and light up on the screen when pressed. When a module is operated remotely on the real console, the AIR button flashes slowly, indicating to the operator that that module is being used.
