Arrakis ARC 15 BP – 15 Channel Balanced Console with Bluetooth & USB. Quality and connectivity are two fundamental requirements for radio broadcast consoles. The Arrakis ARC 15 BP series consoles were the first to introduce PC & Mac connectivity with their USB audio channel. It also led the way with the use of the RJ-45 connection. These achievements put the ARC series ahead of its time and give you the power you need for your station. Both the Arrakis ARC 15 BP and Channel 10 on the ARC-10BP-blue can be paired with any Bluetooth-enabled device, such as your cell phone, MP3 player, MP3 recorder editor and more. Simply pair the cell phone to the console and answer incoming calls with the “Call” button on the panel. You can end the call with the ‘Drop’ button, just like a standard Bluetooth phone hybrid. The caller receives the console bus mix (‘minus’ the caller’s audio) so there is no feedback. Receive calls on the listening bus, where you can record the call for later playback, or send it to the program to play over the air. It’s as simple as the click of a button. The consoles do all this, while still allowing an external phone hybrid to be connected to the Arrakis ARC 15 BPor Arrakis ARC 10 BP at the same time. Bluetooth technology allows you to connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device. You can use your Android smartphone or tablet; you can also connect your iPhone or iPad. This freedom allows your team to bring their MP3 player from home and play their playlists in real time. It also gives your presenter the ability to record an interview and play it back using the completely wireless Bluetooth connection. With the Bluetooth connection, you can transmit high-quality, full-bandwidth stereo audio (A2DP) to the respective channel. The Arrakis ARC 15 BP boards use the BlueCore 5 Multimedia chip by CSR, which is the most advanced Bluetooth audio chip available and has performance capabilities far beyond standard Bluetooth specifications. Operating in the 2.4GHz spectrum, Bluetooth is also RF-resistant.
