Barix Exstreamer 100 IP is a versatile audio decoder for a variety of applications. It allows users to create flexible and cost-effective distributed audio systems using IP technology. Supporting a large number of protocols, decoding methods and specific firmware, the Exstreamer 100 can be used in applications as diverse as Internet radio receiver, VoIP, IP Paging, studio/transmitter links, message repeater, audio player in commercial stores.
BARIX EXSTREAMER 100 – MULTIPROTOCOL IP AUDIO DECODIFIER
The Barix Exstreamer 100 receives data streams via IP networks of the TCP, UDP, SHOUTcast, Multicast RTP type and decodes the received files into AACplus, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, G.711, linear PCM, for analog audio. It uses unbalanced, line-level connections on RCA connectors. It has an RS-232 serial port, flash memory on a USB interface and can be powered by 9 to 30 VDC or 12 to 24 VAC. It is mounted in a high-strength aluminum case and can be attached to the wall or a rack with special accessories.
