What’s more, the broadcast controls allow you to change settings completely without having to take the camera off your shoulder! There’s an external high-visibility backlit LCD status display so you can see critical shooting information and a 4″ fold-out touchscreen for viewing image plans. The URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 includes high-quality neutraldensity (ND)filters to quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. The 2-, 4- and 6-stop filters have been specially developed to match the camera’s colorimetry and color science, offering additional latitude even under adverse lighting conditions. This allows you to use different combinations of aperture and shutter angle to achieve a shallower depth of field or specific levels of motion blur in a wider variety of situations. IR filters have been developed to uniformly filter both optical and IR wavelengths to eliminate infrared contamination of images, a feature present in most ND filters. ND filters are true optical filters with a precision mechanism that positions them quickly when the ‘ND filter’ knob is turned. The filter settings can be displayed as an ND number, reduction or stop fraction on the LCD screen!

Unlike other types of cards, SSD media are super-fast and can record 12-bit Blackmagic RAW files in 4K and 4.6K at maximum resolution. The URSA Mini Pro models include multiple connections, such as 12G SDI outputs, HD SDI monitoring output, 2 LANC inputs, balanced XLR audio with phantom power, time code and sync input. There is a 12-pin Hirose connector for broadcast lens control on the front right of the camera. There is also a 4-pin DC XLR and HD SDI monitoring output positioned perfectly for connecting an optional viewfinder or rental monitor. The 12G SDI output is compatible with all formats up to 2160p60 using a single BNC cable and also switches to HD or 6G SDI depending on the recording format.

The URSA Mini Pro models have a high-quality microphone and a built-in professional audio recorder so you don’t have to carry additional sound equipment!
