Lectrosonics’ IFBT4 is a high-quality IFB transmitter designed for the long-range, high-quality audio applications required, such as broadcasting, cinema and theater. Stylish and simple, it can be used as a stand-alone unit, or in other widely used intercom systems. The single XLR input connector is accompanied by four DIP switches for selecting a microphone, line, Clear Com, RTS1 or RTS2 audio source.

The hybrid digital wireless technology allows the system to overcome the channel noise of digital encoding and audio decoding in the transmitter and receiver, but transmitting the encoded signal during an analog FM signal. Because the FM link is being used, the system has all the advantages of traditional FM systems, including high range and resistance to interference
The system is easy to use, with a microprocessor-controlled menu-based system that is navigated with buttons. Backlit LCD panel is bright and clear for easy reading. Constructed from robust aluminum to withstand the rigors of professional use.
