In the Paravel System Wall Time, manufactured exclusively by Paravel Systems, the hour, minute and second information is maintained accurately through synchronization with external time servers running NTP (Network Time Protocol), including the freely accessible NTP servers available on the public Internet. All interfacing is done via the unit’s built-in 100BaseTX Ethernet network port. The Wall Time display is divided into three functional areas, known as “tools”, with the left part of the display occupied by the Analog Clock and the right part by two user-configurable tools. In the standard mode shipped from the factory, these two tools are the Digital Clock and the ON AIR warning light. Other tools available include the WWE Tool (used to display HTML content) and the GPIO tool (used to display the status of up to 36 GPIO lines in real time).
