Its response has been adapted to give a rich, full sound, with Presence making it an ideal microphone in the radio studio, equally suitable for voice applications for film and television. Rode Broadcaster has an internal pop filter, designed to minimize explosive sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. Rode Broadcaster has a 20Hz -20kHz native frequency response, and a 75Hz high-pass filter, providing a low noise level. It has an innovative “On-Air” signal on the microphone body that can be connected for external activation via the “Channel On / Mute” function available on many consoles. If not connected to a console or switch, the indicator will remain lit whenever the microphone is on.
