The Shure model A7WS is the windscreen foam for the Shure model SM-7B microphone. Suitable for broadcasters who use this microphone in the “HIt-Radio” format, with the presenter speaking close up and with a lot of energy in the microphone. It eliminates the explosive sounds of consonants (“pops”, beats) without practically affecting the microphone’s frequency response. Ideal when you want to use the microphone’s “proximity effect” to gain bass and increase the “weight” of your voice. Fully compatible with Shure SM7, SM7A and SM7B microphones.
