Teranex AV has HDMI input, loop through and outputs that offer enormous flexibility for live broadcasts. So you can convert HDMI to SDI without the need for external adapters or conversion equipment! Regardless of the input format, you can loop out via HDMI to send the signal to a large-screen projector while it is simultaneously converted and transmitted to downstream equipment such as decks and monitors. Removal of 3:2 pulldown even in edited masters
In Japan and the United States, the frame rate of broadcast videos is 29.97 fps, while the rate of feature films is 24 fps. When a movie is converted to video, a process called 3:2 pulldown is used to duplicate movie frames in the video fields. This can cause problems when preparing the movie for distribution via the internet, since the files are encoded at 24 fps. The residual 3:2 pulldown of the video can affect the quality of the image, which can become shaky. Both Teranex Express and Teranex AV can detect and remove the pulldown. This “cadence detection and removal” process removes the pulldown and produces much cleaner results, even if the video has been previously edited and the cadence has problems.

The multi-rate 12G-SDI connections automatically switch to 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI, meaning they are compatible with all your SD, HD and Ultra HD equipment.
