The Vimesa Gap Killer FM 3-Element Antenna is a Circular Polarization Antenna, where the vertical and horizontal components propagate simultaneously, producing greater penetration in obstructed areas that are difficult to receive. Made from stainless steel, the Gap Killer series is ideal for operation in aggressive environmental conditions, such as proximity to salt water, extreme temperatures, mountains, areas with strong winds and regions with the presence of corrosive substances and pollutants. In designing the Gap Killer series, the Chesbyshev polynomial was used to obtain an extraordinary VSWR over the entire VHF-FM band, allowing for better radiation transfer and lower power loss. The Gap Killer does not require any field adjustment and makes it possible to combine multiple transmitters on the same antenna.
